WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Fujikura Pro Blue is a mid-launch, mid spin driver shaft built for a wide range of golfers with swing speeds between 75-110 mph who want increased launch without excess spin and a smooth, connected feel throughout the swing. The most versatile profile in the Pro family, available in 50g through 70g with R2 through X flex options -- making it the entry point into the ABP-powered Pro lineup for most players. Arrives fully assembled with your adapter and grip installed. Plug it in and play.
Who It's For
Good fit if you...
- Swing between 75-110 mph and want a mid-launch shaft with a smooth overall feel
- Want more launch than the Pro Black without adding excess spin
- Prefer a shaft that loads smoothly and feels connected tip to butt rather than aggressively tip-stiff
- Want the ABP-precision platform at a lighter weight -- the 50 series starts at 57g
- Are looking for a versatile everyday shaft that works across a wide range of conditions
- Have tried the Ventus TR Blue and want something with a slightly softer mid section and smoother feel
Not the right fit if you...
- Already launch too high or spin too much -- the Pro Black's lower launch and spin suppression is the better call
- Swing under 75 mph -- look at the Ventus White, Air Speeder, or Sakura instead
- Want VeloCore+ face stability and tighter off-center dispersion -- look at the Ventus TR Blue instead
- Need a shaft under 56g -- the Pro Blue 50 starts at 57g in R2 flex
How It Plays
The Pro Blue is built around the same Advanced Bend Profile (ABP) technology as the Pro Black -- micro-targeted stiffness adjustments at specific locations within each shaft section, developed through Fujikura's enso motion capture system. What differentiates the Blue is its bend profile: stiff tip, medium mid, firm handle. That softer mid section creates a smoother loading feel through transition and produces a higher, more accessible launch without the ball ballooning. It's a forgiving profile that rewards a wide range of tempos.
The low-to-mid bend point positions the shaft's flex point closer to the tip, which promotes a higher launch angle and a more active tip section through impact. Combined with the medium mid section, this gives the Pro Blue a responsive, slightly lively feel -- more dynamic than the Pro Black but more controlled than a pure high-launch shaft. Players consistently describe it as feeling like it works with them rather than fighting them.
The full-length 40-ton carbon fiber core and maximum carbon fiber content construction give the Pro Blue its stiffness-to-weight efficiency. At 57g in the 50-R2, it's accessible for a wide swing speed range while still delivering premium performance. The 60 and 70 series add stability for faster, heavier-preferring swingers without changing the fundamental launch and feel character of the Blue profile.
