CHOOSING A ROUND VS RIBBED GOLF GRIP
All golf grips are available in round models and some are also available in ribbed models. A ribbed grip has a small ridge that runs the along the bottom of the grip. When you address the golf ball with your club, you’ll be able to feel this rib in your upper hand. Some golfers benefit from this as a reminder of proper hand/finger placement on the club. A round grip does not have this ridge.
Please note: you will only be able to feel the rib (protruding out) once the grip is properly installed on a shaft. Uninstalled ribbed grips will look and feel the same as a round grip.
