WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The UST Mamiya Proforce V2 is a graphite driver shaft built for a flatter, penetrating flight, more ball speed and control. UST rates the 5 to 7 series mid launch and the 8 series low-mid, with low torque for stability behind today's larger heads. We sell it from the 5 to the 8 series in A, R, S and X. It arrives assembled with your choice of adapter and grip, ready to attach to your driver or fairway wood head.

How It Plays
UST designed the Proforce V2 for golfers who want a flatter trajectory. It rates the 5, 6 and 7 series mid launch and the 8 series low-mid. The low torque gives more control and side-to-side stability, which UST says delivers more energy to the ball and a more consistent release.
Torque drops as the weight goes up: 3.7 in the 5 series, 3.0 to 2.9 in the 6 series, 2.2 in the 7 series and 1.8 in the 8 series.

Proforce V2 vs HZRDUS Smoke Black RDX — which should I go with?
Both are low-spin driver shafts for faster swingers, but with different feels. The Black RDX is firmer and more aggressive, very low torque, rewards a forceful transition. The V2 has a slightly smoother feel while still keeping spin down, which some players find more playable over a full round. If feel is important to you and you want low-spin without maximum firmness, V2. If you want the most stable, locked-in feel possible, Black RDX.

What's the launch and spin?
Low launch, low spin. Available in 50–80 series, multiple flexes including Tour X-Stiff. UST's graphite layering technology stiffens the tip without making the overall shaft feel boardy, it's more nuanced than a lot of low-spin options. If you've tried other low-spin shafts and found them too harsh, the V2 is worth comparing.

Who is the UST Proforce V2 best suited for?
Players who swing 85mph and above and are generating too much spin with their current shaft. The V2 is low-launch, low-spin with a stable tip section that resists twisting at impact. It's been around long enough to be tour-proven across different equipment generations, which says something. Players who make the switch from a mid-spin shaft usually see more roll-out and a more penetrating ball flight.
