WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Project X Denali Frost Blue is the second-generation Denali: a mid-launch, mid-spin driver shaft with a smooth feel, rated by True Temper for a deliberate tempo. Its Focused Rotational Stability Technology helps the shaft resist twisting on off-center hits, and high-modulus carbon fiber in the mid section adds control without taking away feel. We sell it in the 50, 60 and 70 series, 5.0 through 6.5 flex. It arrives assembled with your choice of adapter and grip, ready to attach to your driver or fairway wood head.

How It Plays
True Temper rates the Denali Frost Blue medium trajectory, medium spin and deliberate tempo. That makes it a shaft for players who swing smoothly and want a balanced flight, rather than one that fights launch or spin.
The Frost update is about stability. Focused Rotational Stability Technology is designed to keep the shaft from twisting on off-center strikes, so mishits fly closer to your good shots. True Temper places high-modulus carbon fiber in the mid section to add control while keeping the smooth feel Denali is known for.
The 50 series is the lightest and most torque-forgiving at 4.5 to 5.0, and the 70 series drops to 3.5 for players who want a heavier, firmer build.

Question on the Project X Denali G2 Frost Blue driver shaft. Under "WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW" shows "Low-launch + Low Spin profile." Under SPECIFICATIONS you show mid spin + mid launch. Which launch and spin is correct? Also, my current driver shaft is listed as 57 grams stiff and 5.3 torque. How much different would the Denali G2 Blue 50 Stiff 6.0 at 5.0 torque or the 50 Blue G2 Regular 5.5 at 5.1 torque? Without testing, which of the G2 shafts would play best for me? Thanks. .
Apologies for the confusion - this shaft is a mid launch + mid spin profile.
The difference in torque is minimal and normally wouldn't be noticed. What's more important is dialing in on the flex. If you are between 84-96mph swing speed, then the Regular (5.5) flex would be better. Unless you are in that range and have a quick tempo/aggressive swing style, then Stiff may work as well.

How is the frost different from the original Denali?
The Denali Frost Blue is essentially an updated version of the original, same mid-launch, mid-spin profile you know, but with added stability built in. Project X added what they call Focused Rotational Stability Technology (FROST), using high-modulus carbon fiber in the mid-section to tighten up dispersion on off-center hits.  The feel stays smooth, that’s the whole point, but you get a bit more forgiveness when you don’t catch it perfectly. Think of it as the Denali Blue with a stability upgrade.
