WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Fujikura Ventus White with VeloCore+ is the lightest shaft in the Ventus lineup - a mid-launch, mid-high spin driver shaft built specifically for golfers with swing speeds between 70-95 mph who want the face-stabilizing benefits of VeloCore+ technology in a lightweight package that helps generate more clubhead speed. Based on the Ventus Blue platform, the White brings the same dispersion control and stability to players who need a lighter, easier-swinging shaft without sacrificing the premium Ventus construction. Arrives fully assembled with your adapter and grip installed. Plug it in and play.

Who It's For

Good fit if you...

  • Swing between 70-95 mph and want a lightweight Ventus option
  • Are currently gaming a 55-65g shaft and feel like it's costing you swing speed
  • Want VeloCore+ face stability and tight dispersion without the heavier feel of the Blue or Black
  • Have a smooth to moderate tempo and need a shaft that loads easily
  • Are a senior or women golfer who wants premium Ventus performance in a lighter package
  • Hit a decent ball flight but want tighter shot-to-shot consistency

Not the right fit if you...

  • Swing 95+ mph -- the White will feel too light and uncontrolled at higher speeds
  • Already spin too much or launch too high -- the mid-high spin profile will make that worse
  • Need multiple weight options to fine-tune your fit -- the Ventus White only comes in one weight (approximately 49.5g)
  • Have a very fast, aggressive tempo -- look at the Ventus Blue or Black instead

How It Plays

The Ventus White is built on the same platform as the Ventus Blue -- same mid-launch DNA, same VeloCore+ core construction -- but tuned for players who need a lighter shaft to swing freely. At approximately 49.5 grams, it's the lightest shaft in the Ventus family, and that weight reduction alone can add meaningful clubhead speed for golfers who have been gaming something in the 55-65g range.

The low bend point promotes an active tip section that helps get the ball in the air -- important for swing speeds in this range that need launch assistance. The 5.0 degree torque is higher than the Blue or Black, which means the shaft has more rotational freedom through impact. For players who don't generate enough speed to naturally square the face, that torque helps the clubhead close efficiently without requiring you to manipulate it.

VeloCore+ brings the multi-material bias core construction that stabilizes the clubhead through impact -- the same technology in the TR Blue, TR Black, and Ventus Blue. Even in a lightweight shaft, VeloCore+ keeps the face from twisting on off-center hits, tightening dispersion in a way that heavier stock OEM shafts typically can't match. For golfers upgrading from a stock ladies or senior shaft, the consistency improvement is often immediately noticeable.

How the Ventus White Compares

The Ventus White sits outside the standard Blue/Red/Black lineup -- it's a separate lightweight profile for slower swing speeds who want Ventus stability without the heavier weight.

Frequently Asked Questions

What swing speed is the Ventus White designed for?

The R2 (Senior) flex suits swing speeds under 80 mph. Regular fits roughly 80-90 mph. Stiff is for players around 90-95 mph who want a lighter shaft but still need some control. Above 95 mph, the shaft will feel too light -- the Ventus Blue or Red in a 5 or 6 series is the better fit.

What's the difference between the Ventus White and the Ventus Red?

Both are designed for moderate swing speeds, but they play differently. The Ventus Red is mid-high launch with mid-low spin -- it has more tip activity and actively helps you get the ball in the air. The Ventus White is mid launch with mid-high spin -- it's lighter (49.5g vs 55-65g for the Red), making it better for players who need weight reduction more than extra launch. If you already launch the ball reasonably well and just want a lighter shaft with VeloCore+ stability, the White is the call. If you need help with launch, the Red is typically the better fit.

How does the Ventus White compare to the Fujikura Air Speeder or Sakura?

The Air Speeder (46-50.5g) and Sakura (47.5g) are similar in weight to the White (49.5g), but they're very different shafts. The Air Speeder and Sakura are high-launch, high-spin profiles with very soft tip sections -- designed for maximum carry for the slowest swing speeds. The Ventus White has a firmer overall profile with VeloCore+ face stability -- better for players who want control and consistency alongside lightweight feel. If your swing speed is under 70 mph, Air Speeder or Sakura. If you're 70-95 mph and want a premium stability shaft, the White is the stronger option.

Can this shaft be built for a fairway wood?

Yes -- select the fairway wood option and your adapter when adding to cart. The lightweight profile and mid-launch characteristics work well in 3-woods and 5-woods for golfers in this swing speed range.

What's included with this assembled shaft?

The shaft arrives with your OEM adapter tip installed (TaylorMade, Callaway, Ping, Cobra, Titleist, Mizuno, PXG, or Wilson) and your chosen grip installed. Club head is not included. Just attach to your driver or fairway wood head and play. See full assembled shaft details.

Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • Just wondering I’m looking at the ventus white and currently use Gt2 with Mitsubishi stiff with 55 gram. Still feels a little heavy but looking for more. I’m 41 with really bad shoulders so weight in the club is important. Usually carry between 240 and 250 with current shaft

    Hi Ross,

    Thank you for your question.

Based on the information you've provided, I'm not sure the Ventus White would be my first recommendation.

The Ventus White is designed as a low-launch, low-spin shaft and is typically favored by golfers with higher swing speeds and more aggressive transitions. While it is an excellent shaft, it may not be the best fit if you're already concerned about club weight and have shoulder issues.

With a carry distance of 240-250 yards, I'm guessing your driver swing speed is probably somewhere in the 90-100 mph range. Since you're currently playing a 55g Mitsubishi Stiff and it still feels a little heavy, I would be more inclined to look at a lighter shaft profile.

A few options I would consider are:

    • Ventus Red Velocore+ 5-S – lighter feeling, easier to load, and very stable.
    • Ventus Blue Velocore+ 5-S – the most versatile option in the Ventus lineup.
    • Ventus White Velocore+ 5-S – if your primary goal is reducing spin and tightening dispersion, but I'd be cautious given your comments about weight and your shoulders.

Before making a recommendation, could you tell me:

    • What Mitsubishi shaft model you're currently playing?
    • Your approximate driver swing speed (if known)?
    • Whether your typical miss is left or right?
    • Whether you tend to hit the ball too high, too low, or about right?

One final thought: with shoulder issues, total club weight often matters more than shaft profile. We may be able to help your shoulders more by selecting the right weight class than simply moving to a different Ventus model.

    Best regards,

    Jim

  • Will the white velocore +be a good fit for a taylormade m2 d

    Hi Michael,

    Thank you for your question.

Yes, the Fujikura Ventus White Velocore+ can certainly be installed in a TaylorMade M2 D-Type driver, but whether it is a good fit depends more on your swing than the clubhead itself.

The Ventus White Velocore+ is designed for golfers who:

    • Have a more aggressive transition
    • Generate higher swing speeds
    • Prefer a low-launch, low-spin ball flight
    • Want maximum stability through impact

If you're currently hitting the ball too high or fighting excessive spin, the Ventus White may be an excellent choice.

However, if you're looking for more launch, more carry distance, or have a smoother swing tempo, you may be better served by the Ventus Blue Velocore+, which is the most popular and versatile model in the Ventus lineup.

    If you can tell me:

    • Your age
    • Approximate driver swing speed
    • Typical ball flight (low, mid, or high)
    • Current shaft model and flex

I'd be happy to recommend whether the Ventus White, Blue, or Black would be the best fit for your game.

    Best regards,

    Jim

  • Will this fit the GTS2 driver?

    Hi Erik,

    Yes, absolutely.

The Fujikura Ventus VeloCore+ Driver Shaft can be assembled to fit your Titleist GT2 driver. Simply select the appropriate Titleist GT / TSR / TSi / TS adapter option when placing your order, and we'll install the correct adapter before shipping.

If you'd like, I can also help recommend the proper Ventus White weight and flex based on your:

    • Age
    • Handicap
    • Driver swing speed (or average driving distance)
    • Typical ball flight

    Thanks,

    Jim
    Grips4Less

  • What does R2,R,S mean on the Ventus white?

    Hi Lou,

The letters refer to the shaft flex:

    • R2 = Senior / A Flex (softest)
    • R = Regular Flex
    • S = Stiff Flex
    • X = Extra Stiff Flex (available in some models)

    As a general guideline:

    • R2 (Senior): Driver swing speed below 85 mph
    • R (Regular): Driver swing speed 85–95 mph
    • S (Stiff): Driver swing speed 95–105 mph
    • X (Extra Stiff): Driver swing speed above 105 mph

    If you tell me your:

    • Age
    • Handicap
    • Driver swing speed (or average driving distance)
    • Typical ball flight

I'd be happy to recommend the best Ventus White flex for your game.

    Thanks,

    Jim
