The Tour AD GP, like its predecessors, utilizes premium, aerospace quality 50t carbon-fiber materials in order to deliver the best feeling and performing shaft available to golfers. The Tour GP-4’s are unique and designed for a player that is looking for a light weight shaft with a soft tip to butt profile that will help launch the ball higher. The Tour AD GP-5’s, 6’s, 7’s and 8’s are designed with a very stiff tip and stiffer mid to butt section to promote a mid-launch condition and low spin.
HOW IT COMPARES
The Tour AD GP is one of the stiffest-tipped shafts in the entire Tour AD lineup — a very stiff tip and stiff mid-to-butt section using TORAYCA® T1100G with NANOALLOY® technology to promote mid launch and low spin with the tightest dispersion in the family. It suits faster swing speeds who want maximum stability and spin suppression in a shaft that is notably smoother and more consistent feeling than its tip stiffness suggests. Players who want more height and carry should look at the Tour AD DI or IZ, while those needing a slightly more accessible version of the same low-spin, tip-stiff profile should consider the Tour AD VF instead.
