  • Sent an earlier question. Specifically, they will be going in TaylorMade P790 TI heads I just bought. I'm going 1/2" over standard. So the 3 iron shaft will be going in the 4 iron, all the way down to A wedge. Is this doable, and again, how much. Need them right away. Thanks

    You can actually use the same iron number because each shaft will have extra length for modification.  If you put a 3 iron into the 4 iron, you would be soft stepping the shaft:

  • Looking for a shaft for the mizuno es21. Should I go taper or parallel

    We don't have information on the tip size for the Mizuno es21 irons - we'd recommend checking with the manufacturer to confirm.

  • Is the MMT 85 series S flex .355 taper iron shaft the same as the 80 series with the .370 parallel tip which PXG uses in their irons? Thank you

  • Thinking of putting mmt shafts in a 50* and 56* wedge. Any difference in using the taper PW shaft compared to the wedge shafts ?

    The MMT wedge have a bit higher spin and would be more suitable for 50 and 56+ degrees. The PW shaft has progressive spin/control to the iron set.

  • Do you tip prep these? Is that something that can or needs to be requested?

    No, we don't to tip prepping. The shafts come raw/uncut.

  • Will these fit apex pro 21 irons

    Yes, the Apex Pro 21 irons take 0.355" tip shafts, so these will fit.

A unique metal mesh – made from individually braided strands of 304 Stainless Steel – is integrated into the shaft’s prepreg layers towards the tip. This improves density and stability, while also allowing for thinner overall composite wall construction. Together this yields a finely tuned, highly responsive shaft that still provides the consistent launch and spin control needed for effective iron play.

Yeah, this is it

This year I was determined to buy a new set of irons for the new golf season. However, Instead I began to learn about shafts and the affects of different models. I bought my first two Mitsubishi MMT and took it to the finest golf institution to make sure the installation was done right. After the installation I tested out the shafts and the hoped for a significant change. A significant change is what I got. For an older dude with a slower swing, my accuracy and distance drastically improved. Not only did I pick the right shafts, I also picked the right company (Grips-for-Less)for the MMT's but GFL staff also had uber-patience for the multitude of question at all times of the day. GFL sent me literature to make the right decisions in a vast array of shafts with every possible shaft combinations known to man. Yeah I know they're just shafts but, to have people direct you to the right gear it was immeasurable and reassuring. I reshafted 9 clubs and happier then hell to had GFL in more corner.

Love these shafts.

These are the answer if you want to go to graphite shafts. I’ve tried recoil and steel fiber prior to these. I absolutely love the MMT 95 S. Previous shafts were Modus 120 stiff. The MMT feel very similar, ball flight and spin is about the same for me, maybe a little higher launch. Gained 5 yards per iron.
