Not sure which KBS shaft to get?
KBS makes a lot of shafts, and it can get confusing fast. Here's the 20-second breakdown.
The KBS C-Taper is the one most serious iron players gravitate toward — it's tip-stiff, low-launch, and built to flatten your ball flight and tighten up dispersion. The C-Taper Lite does the same thing at a lighter weight, which opens it up to a wider range of players. The KBS Tour is the more versatile option — smooth feel, mid trajectory, works well across a lot of different swing types. It's been the most popular shaft in the KBS lineup for a reason.
The $-Taper (you'll also see it called the S-Taper or Dollar Taper) is worth a look if your swing speed lands between standard flex categories, it's one of the only shaft lines that offers half-flex options like Regular+ and Stiff+, which means a fitter can actually dial it in rather than compromise. And if you're considering making the move from steel to graphite, the KBS TGI and PGI are the ones to look at, the PGI in particular is designed to feel as close to steel as a graphite iron shaft gets.
If you're still figuring out which direction makes sense for your game, we put together a KBS shaft comparison guide that walks through every model and helps you narrow it down.
