WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Tool to measure graphite shaft diameter (ID)
  • Determines 15 different sizes
  • Also measures most steel shafts
  • Does not include Shaft Extenders (sold separately)
  • Made by Parage

DESCRIPTION

The Parage Graphite Golf Shaft Measuring Gauge tool allows a club-builder to accurately measure the inside diameter of the butt end of your shaft, so you can determine which shaft extension you need. The gauge is conveniently color coded with 15 sizes to fit virtually all graphite shafts, as well as popular steel shaft sizes.

HOW TO USE

Step 1 - Insert the gauge into the butt end of the shaft
*Note: do not force the gauge into the shaft, as it can get stuck.

Step 2 - When the gauge stops naturally, identify the last color dot that was inserted into the shaft (see chart below or read full color description)

Step 3 - Refer to Maximum sand down variables

Step 4 - Then select the correct size shaft extender here (sold separately).

Needed to determine what size shaft extension to use. Ordered tool and it gave me which size to use. Ordered extensions and installed. Worked marvelously.

Color code issue

Tool worked well after I figured out the color coding. The tools colors were somewhat different than the code chart on the web site. However the color code for the inside diameter of my shafts was correct.
